Colours in Photographs

The definition of colour is a component of light which is separated when it is reflected off of an object. Colour begins with light and the colours we see are influenced by the characteristics of the light source. Hue is a name we give colours on the colour wheel (red, yellow, green, blue, and so on). Colour in photography could definitely be seen as the most important factor. It can create mood, emotion, warmth, coldness and much more. Colour in an image can also be imperative to the narrative of the image. The choice of colour and colour combinations can therefore be used to create a mood in a photograph and can impact the effectiveness of an image. ... Most images call for balancing subjects of the same or similar colour as the main subject, not just a subject of similar shape.

Hence, understanding of Colours in Photographs is very important for those photographers, who has the urge to take one step ahead in Digital Photography. Join us for the session which will be taken up by eminent photographer and technical master, Mr. Eesh Dewan himself.

10am to 10:15am – General introduction

10:15am to 11:30am – Session

11:30am to 11:45am – Tea break

11:45am to 1:00pm – Session

1:00pm to 1:30pm – Lunch break

1:30pm to 2:45pm – Session

2:45pm to 3:15pm – Monitor Calibration session

3:15pm to 3:30pm – Tea break

3:30pm to 4:45pm – Session

4:45 pm to 5:00pm – Certificate distribution

Things to Carry

Laptop with Photo Shop installed. Any version of photo shop is OK. If you do not have the license, download the version from Adobe with 1 month trial and bring the laptop in the session. This is a mandate.

Select 5 of your images which you wish to work on Post processing. There will be selection on spot.

Lunch arranged will be regular veg (light meal course). In case if you prefer Jain food, please carry your lunch along with.
