Food photography is always a very delicate and tricky art, where the shutterbug intends to make their subject more lucrative and mouth-watering for the viewers. The techniques are unique, with some tabletop arrangements and external light sources, to make the image more exclusive. 

Shri Shakti College of Hotel management popularly known as SSCHM is reckoned as one of the finest Hospitality Schools of the country, with students seeking admissions from all corners of the country. We are proud to place in the record the enrolment of foreign students and 3000 alumni members spread across the globe, occupying prestigious positions in reputed organizations.

For the second time, the institute wishes to add the flavor of Food Photography alongside their regular curriculum, to indulge inquisitiveness, and creativity among the students. This time, we have also included the Drinks on the patter menu, to give a broader aspect to this attempt.

· College ID card (will be checked with registration details at the entry gate)

· Mobile/DSLR cameras with fully charged and available memory space

· Theory session for briefing the concepts and techniques of Food Photography

· On the spot in-hand experience of the techniques

· Learn techniques of food styling with simple techniques

· In hand use of high-end technical gadgets for DSLR users (B10  Light modifiers  with Canon, Nikon , Sony triggers and Joby gorilla pods)

About the Mentor

Born in the City of Joy, Indranil is always eager to travel across and document the locations with small write-ups and photography. He started with a small point and shoot, and his attempts got published in many travel magazines in Kolkata. His travelogues got published with full-sized images in leading travel magazines of Kolkata. To improve his skills and take it to a level beyond, he joined Ram Krishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur Math, Howrah, and did a certified course on Digital Photography. In 2012, he formed VIBGYOR (www.infovibgyor.com) where art enthusiasts are indulged in various workshops to promote and pamper the passion. For Indranil, learning is a continuous process, and sharing knowledge is even more important. He practices various genres of photography like street, food, product shoot, event, and sports. He has been invited for conducting various photography workshops in esteemed corporate sectors, institutes and Art Festivals of various cities across the Nation.
