Mahabaleshwar has a regular vegetable market, but they also have weekly market on L.C.D'souza road. This market is held on every Tuesdays. The road is closed for traffic and the market starts around 10.00 a.m and closes around 6.00 p.m.
Here vendors from near by villages sell different types of eatables on the road. They sit on both sides of the road, some just tie a plastic sheet as a shade.
Here you get fresh vegetables, fruits, local spices, fish, chicken, mutton, snacks, crockery, glassware, clothes etc. Its generally a all purpose market.
Locals and mostly Hotel staff buy vegetables from here on regular basis.
